Oxford Riverside Glamping at Swinford Manor Farm provides an opportunity for a truly rural getaway yet only 4 miles from the city of Oxford. Luxury camping within a park like setting. Whether you’re looking for a romantic weekend away or a base for exploration, Oxford Riverside Glamping is the ideal destination for a relaxing break.

Our second season commences on 30th March 2018 and ends on 1st October 2018. We have a total of 10 units for hire, so if you are interested in booking and would like information regarding availability, please contact us directly via email.

    Accommodation

Each bell tent sleeps up to 4 people, with a central double bed and two easily-erected single camp beds that are folded up and tucked away out of site. The central double bed is dressed with pillows, duvets and crisp white bed linen, but we unable to provide bedding for the camp beds unless in an emergency, so you will need to bring your own should you wish to utilise them. The tents are also equipped with rustic furniture, rugs, and a candle chandelier (as well as other lighting).

Electric heating is installed in each one of our bell tents. Hot water bottles and extra blankets are also provided for those cooler nights, but we do advise that you bring some warm clothes just in case!

Outside each tent is a seating area and fire pit, which can be used for all your cooking needs. Simply relax and enjoy the gently setting sun.

    Facilities

Just a short walk from each tent, there are ladies and gents toilet and shower facilities, as well as an external wash-up area. There is also a covered cooking area with three gas-powered ovens (just in case weather conditions mean that you are unable to use your fire pit), three communal fridges, a microwave and toaster. If you would like to charge devices such as mobile phones and I-pads, there is the means to do so inside your tent.

    Parking is free.

    Pricing and payment

Prices start from £170 for a minimum of two nights and £85 for every night thereafter. Each tent is designed to sleep 2 people but we do allow a maximum of 4, with each extra person costing an additional £10 per night. See ‘Accommodation’ above for more information on sleeping arrangements.

Payments can be made via bank transfer, and a deposit of 20% is required in order to confirm your booking. Our rates are seasonal and can vary between weekends and weekdays. Please enquire for further information on prices.
